The center of the tip of the punch has a rounded center section that fits inside the roll pin to prevent damaging the pin
The octagonal shape is easier to grip when striking with a hammer and also prevents the tool from rolling away when placed on a surface
The tip is ground and polished
The material core design prevents mushrooming of the striking head
Tools are tempered to a hardness of 54 to 58 HRC - not just at the tip but throughout the entire length of the tool
Forged from top quality hardened chrome vanadium steel
Compiles with DIN 7255 standard
